Darksiders II (PC)

The skill trees let me build Death exactly how I wanted, and exploring the open world feels rewarding with all the side dungeons. Combat flows smoothly once you get the hang of dodging and chaining attacks.

The skill tree system is surprisingly deep for an action game, letting me really tailor Death's abilities to my playstyle. I've spent hours just mixing and matching armor sets to tweak my stats for different fights.

The armor variety is solid, and swapping between different sets actually changes how you approach fights. Would've liked a bit more direction in the open world sometimes, but the customization makes up for it.
