Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania Edition (PS5)

It’s rare that a physical PS5 game actually includes everything on the disc, but this one does—all four DLCs and the Castlevania pack are right there, no download codes. The whip’s weight and the way Richter’s moveset flows into the combo system feels like it was made for Dead Cells’ combat.

The Castlevania crossover is a dream come true for fans of both series, and the physical disc means I can play it whenever without worrying about downloads. Combat feels incredibly smooth on PS5 with the adaptive triggers adding a nice tactile feedback to each swing.

The disc includes all four DLCs and the Castlevania content right out of the box, which saved me from downloading anything. The combat feels incredibly fluid on the PS5 controller, and the new weapons are a blast to discover.
