Disgaea 1 Complete (Switch)

The item description undersells the depth—hours in and I'm still unlocking new classes and skills. The grid-based combat is surprisingly strategic for a game with cartoon demons. It’s a solid port that runs smoothly on the Switch.

The Prinny tutorials are actually funny this time around, and the item world grind feels perfectly suited for short sessions on the Switch. I've sunk way more hours into this than I expected just trying to max out a single weapon.

Finally a portable version of the classic strategy RPG—being able to grind levels on the couch is a game-changer. The Prinny squad is just as hilarious as I remembered, and the HD sprites look crisp on the Switch screen.
