Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance (PS4)

Nearly 80 hours in and I’m still discovering new character class combos to throw at Void Dark’s armies. The revenge story keeps pulling me through each Netherworld, and the post-game content is a bottomless pit of strategy.

The grid-based combat is as addictive as ever, and I love how you can stack units to create crazy combo attacks. The revenge story actually kept me engaged between grinding sessions too.

I’m already 30 hours in and the sheer amount of tactical depth in the item world and character customization is staggering. Even the silly, over-the-top cut scenes keep me grinning between battles.
