Flint: Treasure of Oblivion (PS5)

The turn-based combat has real weight to it, and the pirate lore woven into each mission makes exploring the world feel meaningful. Billy Bones being a constant presence in the story adds a nice layer of camaraderie.

I was hooked from the first cutscene — the voice acting really brings the pirate world to life. The tactical battles feel weighty and meaningful, especially when you’re positioning your crew for a flanking maneuver. It’s a refreshing change of pace from the usual fantasy RPGs.

The tactical combat is genuinely challenging, forcing me to think several moves ahead like a real pirate captain. I've already sunk hours into planning my crew's approach to each island encounter.
