NBA 2K17 (Xbox One)

The jump shot mechanics are way smoother than last year, and I love how the AI actually plays smart defense now. Spent hours in MyLeague already.

The MyCareer mode feels much more immersive this year—I actually care about my player's off-court decisions. The improved AI makes games feel less scripted and more like real NBA matchups. Definitely the best basketball sim I've played in years.

The commentary team finally sounds like they're reacting to what's actually happening on the court, not just reading lines. I played three games straight and the crowd noise and player chatter pulled me in more than any sports game I've tried this year.
