Sonic Frontiers (PS4)

I was a bit worried the open-world design might feel empty, but the way each island is packed with unique platforming challenges kept me hooked for hours. The freedom to just blaze my own trail and stumble onto hidden secrets is exactly what I needed.

The puzzles on each island are cleverly hidden and genuinely rewarding to solve, and the sense of discovery kept me exploring for hours. The controls feel responsive, making the platforming challenges a blast to tackle.

The sense of speed as you race across the overworld islands is incredible, and each one feels totally different in terms of platforming challenges. I’ve already sunk hours into uncovering hidden secrets and solving puzzles without it ever feeling repetitive.
