The stages feel really authentic—the climbs and sprints require actual strategy instead of just mashing buttons. It’s the most realistic cycling sim I’ve played on PS5 so far.

I’ve been riding through the full 21-stage route and the attention to detail on the 2021 parcours is spot-on, from the cobbles to the climbs. It’s the most immersive cycling sim I’ve played on PS5, and the load times between stages are almost instant, which keeps the pace going.

The full 21-stage route is exactly as the real race played out, so I could relive every mountain and sprint. I started on the flat stages to get used to the controls and ended up losing an entire Sunday to the cobbles. It’s the closest I’ve felt to being in the peloton without actually pedaling.
