Wildermyth (PS5)

Settling in for a long session on the couch, the PS5 version runs buttery smooth with zero loading hitches between battles. Character progression feels genuinely meaningful, and the procedural storylines keep every campaign feeling fresh.

After years of turn-based RPGs feeling static, I love how Wildermyth lets my party members age and change across campaigns. The procedural storytelling actually makes me care about characters.

It’s still a bit of a learning curve getting used to the tactical grid on a controller, but once it clicks, the combat is genuinely tactical and the story generators keep things fresh. The PS5 version runs smooth enough, though I did notice a few brief load hiccups in the middle chapters.
