WWI: Verdun - Western Front (PS4)

Switching between rifleman and machine gunner keeps the squad tactics fresh, and the trench maps feel genuinely claustrophobic. The bolt-action rifle delay forces you to think before each shot.

The squad-based attacks feel genuinely chaotic, and I love how one wrong move means you're done for. The loading times between matches are surprisingly quick too.

The trench warfare atmosphere really pulls you in—the way artillery shakes the screen during intense firefights is immersive. My squad and I had some brutal close-quarters standoffs in the muddy bunkers. It's been a while since a multiplayer shooter felt this tense and unique.
