Compare the Lexip Slim Pack and Gioteck VX-4 wireless controllers for PS5, PS4, and PC. See which budget-friendly option fits your gaming style.
Quick Answer
For competitive players who want programmable rear paddles without lifting their thumbs, the Lexip Slim Pack is the better pick. If you prioritize marathon comfort and immersive features like motion control and headset compatibility, the Gioteck VX-4 is the smarter budget choice.
Compatibility and Connectivity: Both Work with PS5, but Know the Limits
Both controllers are designed for PlayStation 4 and PC, and they work with PS5 for PS4 games and cloud streaming. However, neither is a native PS5 controller, so you won't get haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, or the Create button for PS5-specific titles.
The Lexip uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, while the Gioteck VX-4 connects via Bluetooth. If you switch between PC and console frequently, Bluetooth on the VX-4 makes pairing simpler; the Lexip's dongle is reliable but adds one more USB port.
Programmable Buttons: Paddles vs Back Buttons
Both controllers offer programmable rear controls, but they're positioned differently. The Lexip Slim Pack has four rear paddles, letting you map complex movements without moving your thumbs. The Gioteck VX-4 has programmable back buttons—fewer in number, but still handy for quick actions.
If you play shooters or fighting games where you need to jump, reload, or dodge without leaving the sticks, the Lexip's four paddles give you more mapping freedom.
Comfort and Build: Lightweight vs Ergonomic Design
The Lexip is described as lightweight, comfortable, and ergonomic, which suits long sessions. The Gioteck VX-4 emphasizes superb comfort during marathon gaming, with anti-slip rubber thumb sticks and quick-fire triggers.
Your choice here may come down to hand size and grip preference—some players prefer the Lexip's lighter feel, while others like the VX-4's rubberized sticks for extra grip during intense play.
