Homefront: The Revolution (Xbox One)

The guerrilla warfare mechanics make every encounter feel tense and strategic, especially when you're setting up ambushes in the crowded city streets. I've spent hours just exploring the open world and discovering hidden resistance caches.

Bought this thinking it'd be a quick shooter, but I've lost whole evenings to the guerrilla warfare — sneaking through Philadelphia, setting traps, and hitting convoys. The open-world respawns keep the tension up, so you never feel safe, which is exactly what you want here.

The open world feels genuinely reactive, with civilians joining firefights and patrols changing routes after my ambushes. I just wish the aiming sensitivity had a few more fine-tuning options.
