James ★★★★★

After a long day I love unwinding with this, and the tunneling mechanic is surprisingly faithful to the arcade version. Dropping rocks on those pesky enemies never gets old, and the controls are responsive enough to keep the strategy fun.

Chloe ★★★★★

I was amazed at how faithfully they recreated the maze-like tunnels and enemy patterns from the arcade. The controls for inflating the Pookas are surprisingly responsive on the Atari joystick. It’s a solid, enjoyable version that brings back the original’s strategic feel.

Steven ★★★★★

The rock-dropping mechanic works surprisingly well on Atari—takes some practice but feels satisfying once you get the timing right. Controls are responsive enough that I can actually strategize my tunnel-digging instead of just flailing around.
