マリオカート ライブ ホームサーキット: マリオ

I had so much fun setting up the gates around my living room—the kart actually drifts on the floor just like in the game.

The set-up was a bit tricky getting the gateways positioned, but once I got it running, actually driving the little kart around my living room with the Switch controller felt incredibly responsive and fun. My kids spent an entire afternoon chasing each other through a course we made in the hallway.

The augmented reality overlay in the game mode is surprisingly smooth, making the physical kart feel like it's actually racing through a Bowser's Castle I built from couch cushions. My kids and I spent a whole afternoon tweaking the track layout with household objects.
