鬼武者 Way of the Sword (Switch 2)

The opening cinematic introducing Musashi really sets the tone, and the swordplay feels weighty and responsive. I've been hooked on parrying the Genma attacks using the Oni gauntlet's special moves.

The Oni gauntlet power-up is finally a weighty, satisfying mechanic that changes how you approach crowds of Genma. Courtyard brawls feel tense and deliberate as you parry and unleash Musashi's heavy attacks, and the load times between areas are practically nonexistent.

Finally got my hands on this, and the Oni power mechanic makes combat feel incredibly fluid. The character designs for Musashi and the others really stand out too, adds a lot to the atmosphere.
