Republic of Pirates (PS5)

The economy system really makes this stand out—I spent hours just balancing trade routes and managing resources instead of rushing into battle. And the diplomacy with rival powers adds a layer of strategy I didn’t expect from a pirate game. Sunk my whole weekend into it without noticing.

The naval combat in this game feels genuinely thrilling, with cannons and boarding actions that keep you on edge. Balancing my economy while negotiating with rival powers adds a nice layer of strategy. It’s been a blast building my pirate hideout from the ground up.

I’ve spent hours just fine-tuning my resource economy between raids, and the diplomacy options actually make rival powers feel like meaningful threats instead of just targets. The ship-to-ship fights require you to think about wind and positioning, which keeps every encounter fresh.
