SCHiM (PS5)

The way light and shadow work as both the puzzle and the movement mechanic is so clever, and the relaxed pace makes it perfect for unwinding after work. I've spent hours just hopping between shadows in the lively little city.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a game entirely about hopping between shadows, but it's surprisingly calming. The way the world shifts from light to dark as you move is beautifully done, and the levels feel alive. Definitely a unique little gem for the PS5.

The way shadows warp and stretch as you jump between them makes every level feel alive and fresh. I love how the light and animation mechanics actually change how you plan your route. A genuinely creative platformer that's both relaxing and engaging.
