The tactical command system during phalanx formations feels incredibly authentic, and the historical battle scenarios kept me engaged for hours. I've already started a second playthrough on a harder difficulty.

The unit cohesion system actually makes you think about troop placement instead of just charging in, which kept me engaged through multiple campaigns. The historically inspired battles feel grounded but still offer plenty of strategic depth.

The shield-wall mechanic forces you to think three moves ahead, and when it clicks it feels incredible. I've lost hours to the campaign, and the historical authenticity adds a nice weight to every skirmish.
