ジ・エスケーピスツ (Xbox One)

The roll call mechanic forces you to actually plan your days around a routine, and boosting your intellect stat before attempting a breakout feels way more rewarding. I've sunk a few evenings into this and the escape puzzles keep surprising me every time.

Took me a few tries to escape the first prison, but the stat-building mechanics actually make sense once you get into it. Juggling roll call with sneaky digging kept me hooked for hours.

Finally a game where skipping the gym actually hurts your progress. The way you have to balance exercise, intellect, and roll call makes every escape attempt feel like a real, tense strategy session.
