ヴォイドロート (Switch)

The boss fights really test your reflexes, especially the third one where you have to dodge those sweeping tentacle attacks. I've been playing for hours and the ability upgrades make each new area feel completely fresh.

The hand-drawn cosmic horror art is stunning in motion, and the way abilities layer onto the traversal keeps every new area feeling fresh. I lost a solid evening to the first boss alone, but the checkpoints are fair enough that I kept coming back for one more try.

The hand-drawn art style is absolutely gorgeous, and each new area feels like a creepy, living painting. The bosses are tough but fair, and I love how your movement gets faster and more fluid as you unlock new abilities. It’s a perfect pick-up-and-play Metroidvania for the Switch.
