Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark (Switch)

The map is huge and I keep getting lost in a good way, exploring every corner for secret rooms. Swapping between the two characters mid-combo to juggle enemies feels incredibly smooth on the Switch.

Bounced off other metroidvanias before, but the combo system here clicked instantly—each character plays so differently that switching them mid-exploration never gets old. The co-op revive mechanic saved me more times than I'd like to admit, and the map design rewards poking around every corner.

Upgrading both characters feels incredibly rewarding as new combat combos keep unlocking even hours in. The metroidvania map is surprisingly large and fun to backtrack through with new abilities.
