Pampas & Selene (Switch)

Playing as Selene while my partner controls Pampas made the exploration feel fresh and strategic, especially when we had to coordinate to solve some of the trickier puzzles. The co-op mechanics actually enhance the Metroidvania formula rather than just tacking it on.

The map design is incredibly clever, with shortcuts that actually reward exploration. I’ve spent hours just uncovering every hidden passageway.

The co-op works seamlessly — my partner and I tackled the Dark Priest’s maze together without any lag or confusion. The map design feels like a love letter to classic Metroidvanias, with hidden paths that actually reward exploration.
