Outward Day One Edition (PC)

Finally, a game where dying isn't a reload screen but a real consequence. The split-screen co-op works flawlessly on my PC, and planning our supplies before a dungeon run actually matters. This is the survival RPG I've been craving.

The survival mechanics are brutal but rewarding—I spent my first night shivering in a makeshift shelter, which really sold the adventurer fantasy. Even solo, the world feels alive with danger and discovery around every corner.

Playing split-screen co-op with a friend really sets this apart from other RPGs, and the way the world reacts to your actions keeps every session feeling fresh. I’ve already lost a few days to just exploring and barely touched the main story.
