The split-screen co-op works perfectly on Series X, and the crafting system is incredibly deep for a console game. I was worried about performance but it runs smooth even when the horde comes at night.

I’ve sunk over 40 hours into this and the crafting system alone is worth it, the sheer depth of building and scavenging keeps pulling me back in. Took a while to get the hang of the day-night cycle, but once I did, the tension of those first blood moons had me hooked.
