In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, courageous samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands resolute. As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. Grace G. ★★★★★

The Director's Cut on PS5 loads so fast I barely have time to reach for my drink before I'm back in the saddle. Kurosawa mode with the haptic feedback in the controller makes every sword clash feel like a mini earthquake. Easily the most cinematic game I've played this generation.

Scarlett ★★★★★

The way the grass sways and leaves rustle with the DualSense haptics really pulls you into feudal Japan. I’ve spent hours just exploring the island and the 60fps performance mode makes every sword clash feel fluid. Definitely the definitive way to experience Jin’s story.

Elizabeth ★★★★★

The loading times on PS5 are practically nonexistent, which makes exploring this gorgeous open world feel seamless. The combat is so fluid and satisfying, especially with the haptic feedback making every sword clash feel visceral.
