Ruby L. ★★★★★

The steelbook case looks incredible on my shelf, and the ability to switch between Majima's two fighting styles mid-battle is a blast. The pirate ship combat with cannons and boarding actions is as over-the-top as you'd hope, adding a fresh layer to the Yakuza chaos.

Richard C. ★★★★★

The steelbook case is a nice touch for collectors, and the PC version runs smooth so far. Majima losing his memory and becoming a pirate in Hawaii is exactly the kind of ridiculous, over-the-top story I wanted. I’ve already sunk a few hours in and the sea combat alone is worth it.

Joseph V. ★★★★☆

I was worried about the PC port, but it runs smoothly on my rig even with the high-res textures for Hawaii. The steelbook case is a nice bonus for collectors, though I wish the code came inside it instead of separately.
