Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission is the remake of the first Rail Shooter which shaped the genre. Originally released for arcade in 1987, this new edition sticks to the DNA of the original game – breathtaking action atmosphere inherited from 80’s action movies, while offering a brand-new design and a leaderboard.

Julian ★★★★★

This remake brings back that intense arcade feel perfectly — the light gun support on Switch works great for aiming. I was surprised how fast the action gets, just like I remember from the 80s original.

Abigail K. ★★★★★

The rail shooter mechanics feel just as tight as I remember, and the updated visuals make the jungle levels pop. It's a great nostalgia trip that doesn't mess with the original's fast-paced arcade action.

David M. ★★★★★

I was blown away by how faithfully this remake captures the arcade feel—the lightgun-style aiming on the Switch screen is surprisingly responsive. Playing through the original levels with updated graphics brought back so many memories.
