The game begins when the young John gets imprisoned for witchcraft by the Spanish Inquisition, just before the events that will change his life forever. The players will enjoy crossing one more time the road of some of the first episode's protagonists. But "Yesterday Origins" remains fully accessible to people who have not played the original "Yesterday". "Yesterday Origins" will include optimized visual effects and interfaces specifically designed for each type of platform, whether they require a mouse or a joypad.

James ★★★★★

Jumping between modern-day and medieval Spain keeps the story fresh, and the puzzles are clever without being frustrating. The code-in-a-box version came with a neat little manual that added to the experience.

Hazel ★★★★★

I loved how the puzzles feel genuinely challenging without being frustrating, and the time-travel mechanic between medieval and modern eras adds a cool twist to the story. Pauline’s role as a partner in solving mysteries gives the adventure a nice dynamic, different from most point-and-click games I

Steven ★★★★★

Jumping between 1492 and modern day keeps the puzzles feeling fresh, and I love how John and Pauline’s relationship drives the story forward. The inventory-based challenges actually make you think without being too frustrating. Took me about 10 hours to finish, which felt just right for the price.
