Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest (Atari)

The level designs are clever and the witch animations add a nice touch. I've been playing through the realms for hours and it's exactly the kind of challenge I was hoping for.

I love how the crystals are hidden in clever spots across the different worlds—it makes each level feel like a real puzzle. The controls are smooth and responsive on the Atari, which is impressive for an older game.

The five distinct realms each have a completely different feel, which keeps the gameplay fresh as you hunt for the crystals. The witch's magic effects are nicely detailed for an Atari title, adding charm to the challenge.
