Blade Assault (PS4)

The combat feels really tight and responsive, especially the dash-cancel mechanic that lets you chain attacks smoothly. I've been playing through the Undercity levels for hours and the difficulty curve is just right.

The pixel art style and the way the mutant enemies swarm you in the outside grounds really captures that post-apocalyptic feel. I've been playing through the Undercity levels and the combat is just as responsive as I'd hoped from a fast-paced action game.

The combat feels incredibly tight, and the way you unlock new abilities between the three distinct regions keeps me coming back for more runs. I've already sunk about six hours into it in just two days.
