Borderlands: The Pre-sequel! (PC)

The cryo weapons freeze enemies solid, which makes shattering them mid-air incredibly satisfying. I’ve been playing through as Athena and her kinetic shield is a game-changer for aggressive playstyles.

The low-gravity jump packs make combat feel totally fresh, and the new Cryo weapons freeze enemies solid for satisfying shatter kills. Played through the whole campaign solo and never hit a dull moment.

Jumping between characters during the co-op campaign is smooth, and the cryo weapons add a fun new twist to the gunplay. The story fills in some nice gaps before Borderlands 2, too.
