Evelyn ★★★★★

I was nervous moving to a new country as a kid, so Damien’s story hit close to home—the manga-style cutscenes and turn-based fights make the loneliness feel real. The panel-based combat is clever, and it’s fun seeing Jump+ characters pop up. A solid, heartfelt RPG for the Switch.

Natalie Y. ★★★★★

The turn-based combat using manga panels adds such a creative layer to the strategy. I've been playing for a few hours and the story about Damien adjusting to Japan really pulled me in. The artwork is gorgeous on the Switch screen.

Avery K. ★★★★★

I wasn't expecting such a heartfelt story from a game about a shy kid, but the way it blends real-life struggles with these wild, manga-inspired battles really hooked me. The art style in the Jump+ dimensions is gorgeous, and it makes every fight feel like you're inside a comic book.
