Deer & Boy (Switch)

I was really struck by how much emotion comes through without a single word of dialogue. The art style is gorgeous and the pacing gives you time to absorb every scene.

The way the music swells during the quiet moments really pulled me into the story, and the art style is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never played anything that communicates so much without a single word of dialogue.

The lack of dialogue makes the story hit so much harder — I found myself holding my breath during the piano-heavy soundtrack. Played through it in one sitting, totally immersed in the painterly visuals.
