Exodemon (PS5)

The maze-like level design really forces you to slow down and think between firefights, which keeps the pace from feeling one-note. I’ve sunk a good few hours and the old-school flow of finding keys and secrets still hasn’t gotten stale.

The shotgun blast feels incredibly satisfying, and the soundtrack really amps up the retro vibe. It's a solid blast from the past that doesn't hold your hand, which is exactly what I wanted.
