Frostpunk 2 - Icebreaker Edition (PS5)

The role of Steward really changes how you approach every crisis, and the sheer scale of managing large districts keeps the tension alive long past midnight. I lost a whole shift to a blizzard I should have seen coming, but that punishing difficulty is exactly why I can’t put the controller down.

I’ve been playing for a few hours and the way the city expands into districts instead of individual buildings makes the whole survival feel much more strategic. The snowstorms actually force you to plan ahead, which keeps every decision tense.

The city-building scale is genuinely staggering, laying out districts across a frozen map where every expansion feels like a moral decision. I've lost whole evenings to just managing the heat and political factions, and the PS5 version runs smooth with barely a loading screen in sight.
