Goodnight Universe (PS5)

The eye-tracking mechanic is surprisingly intuitive; I found myself genuinely trying to influence my parents' reactions with my mind. The story about a baby with psychic powers is sweet and surprisingly emotional.

Playing as a six-month-old telepathic baby is as weird and wonderful as it sounds. The way you control the action by blinking and wailing makes the family interactions feel surprisingly tense. I got through it in one weekend because I couldn't put the controller down.

The baby perspective is genius, and using the PS5 controller’s gyro to look around as Isaac makes me feel so helpless yet powerful. I was genuinely tearing up by the end, which is rare for any game I play.
