Gothic Remake (PS5)

I was hooked from the first cutscene—the voice acting really pulls you into the gritty world. The way the orc hordes swarm during combat feels intense and unpredictable, not just scripted. A solid remake that respects the original’s challenge.

The open-world mining colony feels genuinely alive, with NPCs following their own schedules and reacting to my theft. Combat is punishing but fair, and the remastered visuals keep the gritty atmosphere intact.

I was hooked from the first cutscene—the way the orc horde storms into the colony sets the stakes immediately. The ore-gathering missions feel tense because you’re always low on resources. This is the kind of remake that respects the original while tightening up the gameplay.
