The yokai designs are genuinely unsettling, and the way the game builds tension through sound alone kept me on edge the whole time. The folklore inspiration makes it feel unique, not just another jump-scare fest.

Playing this with headphones in the dark genuinely creeped me out, the way the ink brush sealing mechanic works makes you feel so vulnerable. The whole atmosphere is thick with dread, it's a really solid horror experience for the price.

The yokai designs are the real star here—each one feels pulled straight from a folk tale, and the way they creep into the first-person view had me gripping the controller. I played with headphones on and the dread stuck with me well after I turned the Switch off.
