Lumo 2 (PS5)

The cassette rewind mechanic is such a clever nod to the era, and the pixel art really nails that dusty, late-night bedroom vibe. I’ve lost hours just leaping around with my staff, soaking in every little reference.

I was blown away by how authentically it captures that old British microcomputer feel, from the chunky pixel art to the quirky loading noises. The staff and hat mechanic feels straight out of a lost Spectrum classic, but the controls are crisp and modern.

The cassette-rewind loading screen is such a clever touch that instantly sets the nostalgic tone. I’ve been hooked exploring every pixelated corner of this adventure, and the staff mechanics feel perfectly responsive. It’s a genuine trip back to the British gaming scene I grew up with.
