Metal Slug Tactics (PS4)

I was skeptical about a turn-based Metal Slug game, but the classic run-and-gun charm translates surprisingly well. The pixel art looks fantastic on my TV, and the special attacks feel just as satisfying as the arcade original.

The tactical combat flows incredibly well, and each mission feels like a mini arcade shootout thanks to the classic run-and-gun energy. I’ve already sunk a few hours into unlocking new characters, and the strategic depth surprised me for a Metal Slug game.

The pixel art is gorgeous and the way it blends classic run-and-gun with turn-based strategy feels incredibly fresh. I’ve already replayed a few early missions just to unlock different squad builds.
