NOOB: The Factionless (Switch)

I've sunk about ten hours into this and the way each character's abilities actually matter for climbing the guild ranks keeps me coming back. Baster's neogic tricks and Logs' elemental combos feel genuinely different to play. It's a cozy grind that doesn't overstay its welcome.

The four characters have such distinct playstyles that I keep switching who I control mid-battle. Unlocking new guild ranks actually feels rewarding and not just like grinding for a pointless number.

I only have a few hours a week to game, so the fact that a single play session gets me through a full guild rank progression is perfect. Baster the Neogician’s special attacks actually feel useful in battles, not just flashy.
