Oaken (PS5)

The spirit world in Oaken is genuinely immersive, and I love how the game's turn-based combat keeps you thinking without feeling rushed. After about six hours I'm still discovering new branches and secrets on the Great Oak.

The spirits drifting between the Great Oak’s branches give the whole campaign a dreamy, unhurried rhythm that I didn’t expect from a tactics game. Turns flow smoothly, and the branching map kept me exploring for hours without feeling repetitive.

Finally, a strategy game that actually respects my time — the turn-based battles are fast but still feel tactical. The spirit characters and the Great Oak setting give it a unique vibe I haven't seen before.
