Pac-Man World Re-Pac (PS4)

Level design is clever and the 3D platforming feels surprisingly smooth for a game from 1999, it’s a great nostalgic trip.

The camera controls take a little getting used to, but once you're into the first few levels the 3D platforming feels surprisingly smooth for a game from 1999. I've been having a blast collecting all the fruit and rescuing Pac-Man's family again.

The camera controls feel much smoother than the original PS1 version, and the new graphics pop nicely on my 4K TV. Pac-Man’s rolling jump attack is still just as fun to chain through the colorful levels. A solid remaster that brings back childhood memories without feeling dated.
