R-Type Final 2 Standard Edition (Switch)

The R-Type Final 2 brings that classic side-scrolling chaos right to the Switch, and the visuals pop beautifully in handheld mode. I was blown away by how responsive the controls feel during those frantic bullet-hell battles. It’s a solid, intense shooter that satisfies my nostalgia perfectly.

I’ve been hooked on the colorful bullet-hell chaos since the first stage, and the frantic ship customization keeps me coming back for just one more run. The Switch version handles the intense action smoothly, even in handheld mode, which is a huge plus for quick sessions.

The stage select and ship upgrade systems add so much replay value, and the visual style is exactly as colorful and chaotic as I remembered. It runs smoothly on Switch in handheld mode, which was a pleasant surprise for such a fast-paced shooter.
