Ryan's Rescue Squad (PS4)

The slime effects in the first world look surprisingly good on PS4, and the spaceship boss fights keep my son engaged for a full hour. He loves having to figure out which character to use to get past each obstacle.

My four-year-old can't get enough of the slime-filled worlds, and the boss fights with the spaceship controls are actually fun for him to figure out. The game is simple enough that he can play without getting frustrated, which is a huge win in our house.

The spaceship-flying boss battles are genuinely fun, even for a grown-up watching from the couch. My kid keeps begging to replay the slime levels, and the four worlds feel distinct enough that it doesn’t get boring.
