This chess/strategy hybrid is so cleverly twisted that I found myself laughing out loud at the absurdity of blasting bishops with a shotgun. The reload mechanic adds a tense, strategic layer that keeps each floor feeling fresh and challenging.

I was skeptical about chess with a shotgun, but the reload mechanic adds a real risk-reward layer that makes each move feel tense. Finally cleared floor 5 after a dozen tries, and that satisfaction is exactly what I wanted from a quick session game.

The turn-based movement system is clever—you really have to plan your shots since moving is your only way to reload. Took me a few floors to get the hang of pacing my attacks, but now it's hard to put down.
