Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle (PS4)

The fast-paced bullet hell combat really captures the chaotic feel of the Touhou games, and the story mode gives you a good reason to learn each character's unique moves. The loading times between battles are a bit long, but once you're in, the action is intense and satisfying.

The roster feels solid with distinct playstyles, and the story mode has a good difficulty curve. The vampire alliance plot keeps things interesting through the arcade fights.

I’ve been playing through the story mode and the way the characters interact before fights adds a nice touch of personality. The controls are responsive and the special moves trigger smoothly during combat. Great pick for anyone who enjoys fast paced 2D fighters.
