TP-LINK Gigabit WDM Media Converter

Plugged this in to connect my office across the building, and the fiber link came up instantly with no configuration needed. The SFP slot feels solid and the gigabit speed is exactly what I needed for streaming and file transfers.

Installed this to connect my office network to a server room about 200 meters away, and the single fiber cable setup saved me from having to run extra lines. Setup was straightforward—just plugged in the fiber and copper cables and it worked immediately.

Was a bit nervous about getting the fiber-to-copper conversion right, but this little box worked straight out of the package. The WDM technology let me use a single fiber strand instead of running two, which saved me a lot of cable and hassle.
