Twinkle Star Sprites (NEOGEO AES+)

The blend of vertical shooter chaos and versus fighting is so clever—I keep coming back just to see the magical counterattacks chain together. The AES+ version feels crisp on my setup, and the sprite art is as charming as the day it came out. Worth every penny for NEOGEO collectors.

I love how the frantic versus battles in this game manage to be both chaotic and charming, with the magical sprite effects really popping on screen. The vertical shoot 'em up twist with competitive elements makes every round feel fresh and exciting.

Playing through the story mode solo is just as fun as versus—the way your sprite powers up with each collected star feels incredibly satisfying. The frantic pace keeps you on your toes, and the chibi art style is so charming it’s hard not to smile.
