Yakuza Kiwami 2 (Switch 2)

I’ve been playing through the story on my Switch 2, and the combat feels incredibly fluid with the new hardware. The visual upgrade really makes the streets of Sotenbori pop. Ryuji Goda is such a memorable antagonist—definitely worth picking up if you’re into action brawlers.

The cabaret club management mini-game is addictive, and the story between Kiryu and Ryuji Goda is surprisingly emotional. Combat feels smoother than I remember from the original PS2 version.

Running around Kamurocho at 60fps feels incredible, and the heat actions are so fluid I actually stopped to watch them play out more than once. Ryuji Goda's whole presence comes across way stronger in this version, the Dragon of Kansai rivalry finally feels as epic as it's supposed to be.
